Protein bars

Does anyone have any suggestions for low-carb protein bars that won't break the bank?

I've seen QUEST ones, they claim to have 4g net carbs but upon research actually contain 20-25g carbs ???

Sorry but I really don't. It seems to me these protein bars are so loaded with hidden carbs that you might as well just eat a snickers! So frustrated!! Grrrr...

Don't quest bars break the bank at almost $3 a piece?
I imagine all foods have hidden carbs if quest is getting away with it.

    Hi,
I do believe the majority of the carbs come from fiber.

So net carbs means that the fiber numbers are subtracted. That makes sense.
I thought quest bars were lying to people. Glad they are not.

I eat Power Crunch bars. 200 calories (triple chocolate has 205) 13 fat, 10 carbs, 1 fiber, 13 grams protein.
You can find them for $1 on sale sometimes. They're wafers covered in a candy like shell. I've tried Triple Chocolate- yum, Chocolate peanut butter fudge-also yum, Peanut butter creme-not so yum, Vanilla Creme - not yum at all. There are other flavors but I stick with what I know.

Premier protein bars. 30 grams of protein. Cheap at Walmart, BJs, Sam's or Costco. Still 25 carbs, but only 9 sugar. http://shop.premierprotein.com/Bars/c/PremierProtein@Bars
