Easter

With Easter around the corner I find myself worrying about over-doing the holiday dinner. This will be the first holiday since I started this weight loss journey. Does anyone have any tried and true advice for enjoying the holiday without blowing your diet?

My advice is to look at the food and consider which, if any, dishes are ones that you only have a couple of times a year. Enjoy those foods and adjust your serving sizes of the other foods to make room for them.0

I agree with Krisstactic. On my journey, I completely went off my calorie limit one day a week. I did not worry about what I was eating or the nutritional value of it. One day of holiday dinner is not going to tank you, but monitor your left over intake the following day. Best wishes!0

I will eat everything just a bit less. It is about learning to live a healthier lifestyle but you can not deprive yourself. If you do you make yourself and everyone around you miserable.0
