Happy Hump Day, all! I’ve also been sick (not contagious, just allergies). Tis the season.
I need to make tacos again. Or better yet, nachos. Chicken fajita, minced beef, bbq pulled pork... so many choices! I’m more than a little afraid to enter nachos into the recipe builder, though. Between the three of us, my family can easily put away a loaded half-sheet pan. Yo nececito TODOS los nachos...3 -
I just order single with fries...bottled water typically.. still be in my cal range for the day..

We were so friggin excited when my husband was first able to fly to the States. He brought back a SUITCASE full of Rotel tomatoes, chilis, black beans, & spices! Add that to a source for fresh tortillas, & most of the stores carry the chips... we were in business! Once a year is far too rare for TexMex 🌮1 -

I live a few blocks from “ mexican land”. Like 10 block stretch full of authentic mexican food. I need to go more often
I grew up in Texas. Depends on my mood whether I prefer TexMex or authentic Mexican. There’s a little food-truck-turned-permanent-instalment in our hometown that makes the most amazing sweet potato tamales, and I could wrap up in a fresh-pressed tortilla. To die for. Buuuuut... there is also no such thing as too much queso. 😆0 -

I love food. Love to cook it, love to share it, love to eat it. I’m not giving up on delicious foods just to lose weight because then I’ll never sustain the loss anyway. I’ll balance the heavy with the light, watch my portions, etc... but I’ve been to “the dark side” & I’m not interested in ever going back. That means finding ways to make things fit.0 -
