    Always fun to shop....especially when you're buying something for yourself.

    I did cell phone shopping yesterday....it was fun...but it was a pre order so don't have it yet

    And I really want to go to this Anne Frank museum now. That's my absolute favorite book. I have two copies of it and think I've read it about 10 times over the years.

    We are very close to the Holocaust Museum in Dc and my daughter has given tours there. She was very interested in all of it including Anne Frank. It was a sad time in history for all. Some of the "souvenirs" or remembrances you can get are letters actual victims have written or post cards.

    Definitely think everyone should visit the museum once in their life. Its quite the eye opener. I was maybe 15 when I was there on a family trip so at that age even for me it becomes all too real. I mean you learn about in school and you read all the books from survivors, but once you expierence the museum, it becomes like sh!!!!tttt there are some really fawked up people out there that would treat people this way.

    Yes history becomes "real" for us when we can apply it or see it. It affected everyone for sure. On a happier note Cherry Blossom Festival is this week in DC. Temps in the mid to high 60s so yay! Happy spring (finally)

    Afternoon all...back from shopping hell.. well not really.. just one store.. had to rummage for correct size that fits me. $$$ later. Now I'm starving.. 😊

    ..shopping does make you hungry tho. I find that. Its probably because we feel theres a hole to fill after spending so much money. 🙄😏😖
