    We had major flooding Monday (410 was shut down) but it seemed to dry up some yesterday with a small break in the weather. Hopefully it passes by. Dallas was the major flood area so far.

    I have about 7 burly Amish men tramping around on my roof ripping off old roofing and putting on new so i hope the rain holds off here another day or so..but we need rain here in pa.

    I have an Amish cookbook it's neat to read their menu for a barn raising.

    Quite impressed so far. VERY clean cut profession young man. and they showed up at 7am as scheduled and where flingin old shingles by 7:10. i've been waiting a week for a non amish guy to call me about a flooring repair job. most people have ZERO work ethic today.

    my poor dog has to suffer through the pounding for a couple days...he's probably like what the HELL! all i want to do is sleep. cat will hide in the basement lol.

    So no personal flood damage to your house? That is a pain to deal with

    no, Thankfully. There was a hail storm that came through over the weekend tho and tons of cars were damaged. A caregiver I work with had her windows in her house and her windshield on her car busted out. The car looks like someone took a bat to it.
