I lost 7lbs in 5 days. Should I be worried?

I have reduced my calorie intake to 1200 a day. I used to eat out everyday for lunch and dinner. I also loved sweet tea! Now I only drink water and eat 1200 calories with no excercise. Should I be worried? I feel lighter. I have been sleeping better and feel great throughout the day.

If it's the first week, most likely not. Many people have a significant drop the first week or even the first few weeks. A lot of it is water weight. But 1200 is pretty extreme unless you're a very short female or are already quite small.0

No reason to worry. The body sheds water and fat in random "chunks". Some weeks nothing, other weeks "whooshes" like that. It's random and you won't always have that.0

PS the fact that you feel great throughout the day and sleep great is the best indicator that the calorie deficit is fine. Always use that indication as opposed to the myriad of opinions or theories of others.0

It's water I once lost 10lbs in a week doing WW I was only 140 to start
