So I've had my Apple Watch and Fitbit he charge on for exactly the same amount of time, but they are giving me different readings
Fitbit charge 2020 steps 0.78 miles
Apple Watch 1491 steps 0.68 miles
Which is right do you think. Also earning calories back syncing the Apple Watch with My fitness pal is harder, it says I've earnt 7 extra calories whereas with Fitbit I used to get a lot more for the same amount of steps.
I'm confused

Sounds like they are making different assumptions about your stride length. Apple Watch is more accurate on kcals as it only counts those over and above those required to live (breathe, thermoregulate etc) most devices/calculations add these on top exaggerating extra burned.0

Go for a walk. Before you start, note how many steps each of them say. Count a few hundred steps. Compare what both devices count. Let us know which is more accurate. Thanks!0
