I'm just getting started at the age of 40. 5'5" and 277 lbs. I have A few restrictions, like I'm due for a new replacement, but that doesn't mean the rest of me has to suffer and I have asthma, but that will get better as I lose weight.
I figure it's OK to have chocolate cake as long as I eat it for breakfast so I can burn the calories during the day
People say "I don't mean to be rude, you have a pretty face but you just need to lose a little weight" ( like, I've never heard that before) (rolling my eyes)

You don't have to eat the chocolate for breakfast, but you can eat it when you feel like, just log it and make it fit the calorie deficit.
I did not really see a question in you post, so I will just say good luck with the journey.0 -
lol love the title.
Im a fatty girl deep down.
Anyhow, dont beat yourself for eating a little junk here and there. Fit it into your macros and make an effort to do something active everyday. Long walks
PS - You do have a pretty face though.0 -
Personally i only class food as junk if you didn't appreciate it. If that chocolate cake gave you a little mental boost then its totally worth it and not junk too me. :-)
Ps im not advocating emotional eating- or using food as entertainment or rewards - just advocating moderation.

Yeah, just fit it into your calories, log it, enjoy it, and move on.0

I figured eating the most calories in the morning is better than at night
This app is really motivating me , that there are other people in the same boat. Real people not paid actors on TV.
After I read my post ,i put up , thought I hope it don't sound too self conceded.
People try to tell you in a "nice "way you need to lose weight, is just not nice. I like the looks of a curvy woman. But my curves are getting to be really unhealthy and my quality of life is starting to get poor.i don't need to reminded, I already knew. Ya know, some people need to worry about them selfs. Ugg lol0 -
Love the thread title! A sense of humor is a great help on this journey. I wish you well!0

That's exactly how I feel, Thank you friend0

There's nothing wrong with loving who you are, and there's nothing wrong with wanting to be healthy!
As for those snide little ones with the back handed compliments. Call 'em out on that crap, girl. Right as it happens. Point it out and tell them that's not okay. Your real friends will apologize. The not-so-real ones will leave you alone...and everyone will be hilariously flustered for a few minutes after you do it.0 -
You can do it!0

1. "New replacement"? This is a pretty major unexplained point. Does being overweight cause or impact this need?
So much going through my thoughts, but it sounds as if you have health issues that trump cake. And I'm a chocoholic, too!0 -
Just use mfp. Log your chocolate cake accurately. Meet your macros. Don't exceed your macros. Tell us all about it in 6 months in the Success Stories.0
