How do you hydrate before a morning race?

I am running a 10k at 8 am tomorrow. I typically drink about 130 ounces of water a day. The high is supposed to be 80 tomorrow, so I'm sure it will be cooler at 8am. Without getting up at some ridiculous time, how would you suggest I hydrate? I think there are 4 water stops along the way.

Start drinking tonight! I never like to drink too much the morning of a race because it makes me feel heavier and makes me worry that I'll have to go to the bathroom while I'm running, so I would suggest getting a lot of fluids this afternoon and tonight and then just drink a bit before the race. You can replenish afterwards, and at the water stations if you choose to stop at them.0

You can't really hydrate yourself in a morning, if you are well hydrated the days leading up the race you should be fine. I like to drink some gatorate or a gatorade primer right before (15 minutes) a race. But beyond that you should just drink like normal tomorrow mornng, but stop drinking about an hour before (to prevent having the pee). And 4 water stops are plenty. You may be even able to skip one or two.0

Drink a little extra tonight.
In the morning, have some fruit for breakfast.
Maybe carry a little water bottle?0 -
I usually have a Gatorade on the way in the morning, but....not to sound like a complete d-bag, it's a 10 K with 4 water stations (I refuse to call them stops), pre-hydrating really shouldn't be an issue.0

When I did the Tough Mudder, I just had regular water and maybe some coconut water. I didn't do anything special because I didn't want to have to pee every mile. I'm not a super athlete so I just do my normal routine.0

Proper hydration and electrolyte replenishment (as well as nutrition for glycogen levels) should happen daily BEFORE race day. At minimum, 3-4 days before really clean up your food and drink plenty of fluids to be prepared for the event. Don’t eat or drink anything new the night before or morning of or you could suffer from gastric issues.0

It's what you drink today that prepares you for tomorrow.
Drink 250 ml / 8oz of water when you first get up tomorrow morning and another 250ml not less than an hour before the race starts (I hate running with water sloshing in my stomach) and you should be fine. If you feel the need grad some water from the water stations and take a small sip (it it's really hot pour the rest over your head) with a 10K race there's not a big need to worry about becoming dehydrated.0 -
