Perimenopause and issues losing weight

I'm a 40 year old woman I weigh 255 pounds and believe I am going through perimenopause. I have been calorie counting for over 2 months, working out everyday by either doing cardio (rpm) and/or strength training (pump). I can see a bit of a change in how my clothesare fitting but when I step on the scale it doesn't seem to be moving. I have been working out with a girlfriend who is the same age, about the same weight maybe 20 pounds lighter everyday, doing the same exercising and even adjusted my caloric intake to 1470. She has lost over 30 pounds....I just can't seem to shed any weight. If anyone is going through this or has any insight, please add me, I would love to get some advice!! So frustrated but now willing to give up!

Have you had your thyroid checked out? Hypothyroidism can cause difficulty losing weight.0
