So I'm just wondering how do people calculate calories burned during weight lifting? Thanks for the help.

Look it up in your exercise diary0

I just use the MFP database entry (log under the cardio section remember).
It's a small amount and impossible to measure so not worth trying to be more accurate than that. The estimate is based on METS but of course it's a rough estimate and style of lifting and volume of weight lifted will make a difference.
Near enough is good enough!0 -
Thanks for the help guys0

OK I see where I can add the strength training excersise but it only allows me to add the sets/reps/weight. But when I set it I don't see the calories burned. Under cardio it asks me to input the calories burned. Sorry if this sounds stupid, but I really don't know.0

Under the cardio section search the database for "Strength training (weight lifting, weight training) "
Add the duration and you will get the estimate.
The Strength section of the exercise diary has no calorie count functionality.0 -
OK thank you for your help.0
