does this seem doable?

I am currently 220 lbs, and I started at 246. When I am really trying , I tend to lose about 2 lbs a week or more. Now.. I would like to lose a significant amount by the holidays, hopefully by Halloween. At least enough to where people will notice!
(so far, even though I've lost 2 pant sizes, no one can really tell) So maybe another 30 lbs by October 31st? Doable?

Absolutely it is! With a good plan and goals in mind, anything is doable! So what's your plan to get there?0

If you think of it over a period of 4 months that would be less than 10lbs a month. It is a very attainable goal and good job to you already!! I am hoping to loose 10lbs this month myself, and thant work from there, If you wnat some help with motivation feel free to add me. I just went back on my journey and looking forward to seeing some results that are noticable to everyone.0

Just do what you have to do.
Giving yourself deadlines is pointless since you have no idea if you will hit a plateau and the more weight you lose, slower it goes. I am happy when I lose 1 pound a month now0 -

Out of curiosity, how do you know that nobody can tell? Often people, even friends and family don't bring it up. Talking about weight can be a lot like talking about religion, politics, etc...it's a bit taboo if you will. This is true even if the comments are positive because, frankly, a lot of people don't take them the right way.
A simple, "wow...you look great...lost some weight huh?" turns into, "WTF...so you thought I was a nasty *kitten* fat piece of **** before?" in some people's minds. A lot of people just try to avoid any potential drama in that RE.
On that front, I've lost nearly 40 Lbs and counting and gone from about 32% BF to 19%/20% BF...before I could barely walk to the car without getting winded...now I do 5Ks and 10Ks and warrior dashes and mud runs and the like. I hit the weight room hard and look nothing like I looked 7 months ago...still...i have family and friends who've never said a word about it and there's no way it's possible that they can't tell a difference all the way around.
You have to do this for yourself...not for others.0 -
Well, I talk about my success a lot, and still nobody even says like "it shows"! Plus, my grandma, who I'm close to and often speaks her mind about how I NEED to lose weight or in the past, how I look thinner, hasn't said anything since I've lost this weight.0

I just lost almost 30 pounds in almost 3 months. You have almost 4 months, so I think you can do it. It won't be as easy as the first 30 pounds, but if you really try, like you said it's doable. My goal is another to lose another 25 by 9/30. Feel free to friend me & let's see if we can both do it together!0

But yes, I am doing this for me. Its just nice to know people notice0
