Easter itself, no. My boyfriend and I live 800 miles from our families, so it's just another day for us. The boxes of Easter candy they sent us, though, will potentially be a problem...

YOU make the decision. If you decide it's going to be "hard", it will likely be hard.

I think loads of people use the holidays as an excuse to exaggerate their normal behaviour, I see it with people at work, ironically those people are the ones on diets all year and don't lose any weight.

Not at all. It's just going to be me, my grandparents, and 2 of my siblings this year. Maybe my aunt and uncle. So we're not doing anything huge. Plus, Sunday's are always my let loose day bc 90% of the time I go to my grandparents, so I end up eyeballing a lot of things. I may end up going over, but I've got a whole week to weigh and measure so it's easy to get back on track. 1 day out of 7 isn't going to ruin all of your hard work. And 1 day out of a lifetime (which this is supposed to be. A lifestyle change) isn't even a blip on the radar.

Pretty much. I'm making the decision to enjoy the food!

I make aebleskiver only a few times a year- Christmas, Easter, and my partner's birthday. I figure, if I blow a few extra hundred calories on aebleskivers (with jam and whipped cream, of course!), well... that's what extra cardio is for right? I deliberately kept things like Robins Eggs (my downfall) and chocolate peanut butter eggs out of the house this year.

I went to the gym today and have 700 calories extra today which i'm not going to eat. I know it doesn't really work that way, but I'm counting that on tomorrow's calories, which I've worked out as being about 3000 calories, of a chocolate egg, a meal, and alcohol.

I don't think it'll be too bad. My family is pretty supportive and my parents have a food scale at their house so I know I'll be able to weigh everything. I also have to work 1/2 day so I won't be around the munchies for very long. As for the wonderful chocolate, I have that on a pretty regular basis anyway and have been really good about keeping my calories in check or very close to it.

My parents are coming down and we are going out to eat so it's actually going to be easier for me than holidays usually are. I'm going to take a look at the menu ahead of time, prelog it, and plan the rest of my day around it.

I'm of to my parents tomorrow for lunch but I have warned my mother no potatoes mashed roast or otherwise or stuffing or any of the other form of muck she usually dishes out (Sorry Mum). It'll be veg and turkey for me with no pudding. I am going to have some chocolate at some stage tomorrow, lifes to short not to and its Easter :) but I will still be counting my cals and won't be going over my allowance.

Well if your Mother sees your post you might not have to worry about being invited again.

Nope, I'm going to watch what I eat tomorrow. Besides, I have food allergies and such so I have to always be careful of what I eat anyway.

Not for me. I work a 16hr shift tomorrow to allow those who celebrate to do so.

    Hope everyone enjoys their holiday!

I'm off plan and off work for a few days. Eaten an entire green and blacks egg, and some other off plan things that I love, skipped dinner. All the things I hardly do. Tired of it already, mcant wait to go back to slight deficit.

At least I'm still exercising. Unlike xmas where I gorged and rested for two weeks and put on 2/3 lb of pure fat.

Dinner for two people (my mom and me), so it won't be huge. Plus I have to work in the morning, so it'll basically be a regular Sunday with maybe a few more calories. Even if I do eat over, so what? It's just one day.

We don't have kids, so no candy temptations. That would be my undoing! I received an invitation from family to Easter lunch, but I know from past experience that the food will be lousy and the company not much better, so I declined.

2.5 kilos of chocolate...... Is it really necessary??

Yep, I've already gone over. Logging it as well is like putting salt on the wound if that's how the saying goes? :'(:/
