is this a good plan ?

Hi all,
So I have decided to start a lifestyle change in order to lose the excess 20 lbs I carry, and after much planning I came up with this simple schedule without complicating things because I know I can't keep up with complicated, and I want to know from your experience do you think this is good for weight loss?
Note, I work 8-6pm sitting mostly and I can't have lunch at work.
8am coffee
10am breakfast, mainly a light whole grain sandwich and a cup of tea
2pm an apple
3pm trail mix handful
4pm coffee again
6.30 pm lunch (planning 500cal low fat, high protein lunches)
8pm trail mix handful.
And that's it, please tell me what you think before I start, thanks ahead.

How many calories would this be? How much carbs/fat/protein/etc.? It doesn't sound very sustainable.0

Main calories intake would be from lunch, I'm planning 500cal lunches through the week. With focus mainly on protein and low carb.0

Depends on your stats and calorie goal?0 -
weigh it, log it, eat it. if it fits in your calorie goals and makes you happy, it's a good plan. personally, it makes me hungry just looking at it...0

I wouldn't recommend the trail mix, MFP says it has 600-700 calories per cup, in other words an entire meal's worth of calories.0

I'm confused. You can't have lunch at work, but you can drink coffee and tea and eat sandwiches and apples and trail mix? How many calories is all this? Why would you eat two handfuls of trailmix (very calorie dense food) and not dinner? Any particular reason for low fat? I have some ideas but I don't know what you like either. Weight loss is all about calories anyway.0

This doesn't look like it's very many cals, which means you will be hungry. Hunger is not good. Focus on whole grains and veggies to get good carbs and fiber, and lean meats (chicken, turkey) for protien. That's what has worked for me.0

Skip the raisins in the trail mix and add some veggies I do high protein and low carbs as well but you need some veggies0

Thanks all for your input, I'm going to substitute the trail mix with veggies snacks then, its healthier for sure and a salad for dinner instead of trail mix to keep my calories around 1200.
Ps. I can't have lunch at work because I eat on my desk and we are not allowed to take a lunch break so I can't eat proper lunch at my desk it doesn't feel good to do so actually.0
