Looking for Motivation and support

Every week it's the same thing, I start over and do great and then fall off on the weekend. My endurance has suffered so much from lack of exercise and physical activity from changing jobs also, it's disheartening to someone that used to be in great shape. Just looking for motivation and support here. I'm getting married Oct 1st. One would think that would be enough. But I've been engaged for 6 months and haven't put the work in yet.

Hello, you just need a plan of attack if you do great the whole week that's amazing ! So we have to figure out your weekends then .. Do you binge eat on the weekends? Is it a social thing ? Do you go over your weekly caloric goals because of those 2 days ?? Let's brainstorm and figure it out! Congrats on your upcoming wedding !0

Planning a wedding is incredibly stressful, you're gonna have the time of your life. I know that you're feeling frustrated with yourself right now. You've honestly gone through a lot, so do what you can.
There's no harm trying again after failing. You're doing something, getting support and motivated to try again. That's really great. If you just need someone to talk to, feel free to contact me.0 -
Thanks for the replies!!! Means the world to me. All of the above hzl22. I'm a binge eater , my friends always want to go out to eat, and I just give up once I've done bad for once meal. Snowball effect.0

I have that problem because once I eat something I shouldn't have then I feel so guilty and instead of stopping I just continue eating badly .. What has helped me is thinking of my calorie intake for the week instead of just the day that way if I slip up one day and overindulge I can eat less the next day . For you i would suggest you eat a little less over the week so you can eat more in the weekend and still stay on track. For example If you eat 200 calories less for 5 days you will have 1000 calories extra to play with on the weekends. We don't lose weight daily it's more of a weekly thing . You can check your weekly calories and set up the week to end on a certain day .. I have it set up for Friday because that's when I weigh in and kind of gives me closure for the week. Friday would prob be good for you too cuz then you can enjoy your weekend and know you have the rest of the week to make up for it, and you'll know exactly how much harder you have to work during the week since you had your weekend first .0

Great suggestions!!! Thank you so much. My fiancé compared me to a serial killer before. Lol. He said just bc they kill one person they figure they will go on a killing spree and that's how I am with my food. LOL. That will stay with me!!!0

Get a piece of paper, and a pen. Come up with a list of goals, both long and short term. IE: 1 lb. per week (short term). Goal wright *** (long term). If you have to, post sticky notes everywhere. Don't give yourself time to make excuses. Do your exercise as soon as you have the time. I go after work. Make sure you track every calorie. When you get a craving, take a breath and think of a better you. It's more mental then anything.0

You can't let one "bad" meal or choice or day rule if the week/day is a write off.
One step/meal at a time... I've learned that it didn't come on over night, it's not coming off overnight
I can't tell you how many different times I've started and stopped a program because of one bad day.
It takes 4 weeks to notice change in yourself
It takes 8 weeks for family and friends to notice change in you
It takes 12 weeks for the world to notice
Don't give up , it takes a lot of time!0 -
Lmao Sarabear the serial killer!0
