Bittersweet Milestones

Perspective is a b!tch.

I am currently the lightest I have been in my eight-year-old son's life. However, when my son was born, 188 pounds was the fattest I'd ever been up to that point in my life. So getting back to that point is more like finally arriving at square one.

At today's weigh in, I noted I was 25 pounds lighter than the last time anyone has seen me naked. Again, way to go, me! Yay for the weight loss, but boo for the dry spell.
