I tried to make a list of what I usually buy, but sorry, it will just go on and on. A list of every possible food available can't be of help to anybody.

I rarely shop in an actual grocery store. Most of my food comes from a produce market, that also sells some canned goods, eggs, cheese, fresh bread, and fresh fish. Grocery store shopping consists of things like coffee, canned soup, canned tomatoes, meat, and yogurt.

At the produce market, my shopping list includes romaine lettuce, lots of peppers (red bell, green bell, jalapeno, etc.), mushrooms, cauliflower, apples, bananas, strawberries if they look good, red or green grapes, carrots, celery, cilantro, ginger root, garlic, onions, cucumbers, pita bread, almonds (if I've run out), salmon, and spinach.

I forgot some things that are staples at my house but weren't on my list this week:
    Coffee
    Creamer
    Canned tomatoes
    Chicken broth
    Ice cream or fudge pops
    Oatmeal
    Sour cream
    Cream cheese
    Taco shells
    Mustard
    Canned beans
    Pasta
    Horseradish sauce
    Spices
    Chocolate chips

    I'm sure I'm forgetting more.

For me or for the house? I have to have a coffee stash (reg and decaf), fruits and veg, yogurt (Greek or plain lowfat), protein bars, dry soup mix.

    Bananas
    Tropical fruit
    Apples
    Spinach
    Zucchini
Any berries that are on sale
    Stone fruits
    Melons
Unsweetened soy milk (and chocolate almond milk for family members)
    Gardein vegan meats
    Tofurkey deli slices
    Bread made from sprouted grains
Lots of leafy greens that are in season
    Carrots
    Peppers
    Bean based pastas
    Beans and lentils

I buy other things like condiments, spices, sometimes vegan icecream, and what looks good at the store but I stick to what's on my list.

Greek yogurt (a large tub of the plain and a few small containers of the Light and Fit Greek)
Cottage cheese (big tub of 1-2%)
    Unsweetened almond/cashew milk
    Laughing Cow wedges and babybels
    Fat-free feta cheese
    Frozen fruit (berries, pineapple/peaches, cherries)
Frozen veggies (broccoli, green beans and almonds, snap peas, whatever looks tasty that isn't drenched in any sauces)
Frozen dinners (Lean cuisine -if I'm too lazy to make dinner)
Frozen fish/shrimp (whatever is on sale or cheaper per ounce. I got a good deal with frozen ahi tuna steaks a few days ago and also have a few frozen salmon filets. If all else fails, it's good old Gorton's salmon "filets" for a relatively cheap source of seafood)
Peanut butter (has to be chunky)
    Powdered peanut butter
    Sugar-free jelly
    Splenda/Sucralose
    Canned vegetables
    Canned beans
    Canned tuna/tuna pouches
    Canned light soup
    Coffee. Lots of coffee
Dark chocolate (at least 85% cocoa)
Quest bars (a treat for me)
Low blood sugar treatment (often jelly beans, though I might use Starbursts or applesauce packets)
    Salsa
    Mustard
    Vinegar
    Spices
    Kale/Collard greens
    Raddishes
    Zucchini
    White mushrooms
    Apples
Clementines (if they're in season -I'll probably stop buying them now that the season is just about over)
    Asparagus
    Cauliflower
    Green peppers
    Baby carrots
    Snap/Snow peas
Onion/Cucumber (if I'm making cucumber salad)
Berries (if they don't cost an arm and a leg)
Chicken breast (if it's on sale)
    Diet soda

I don't eat a ton of grains. The stuff above is often stuff I'm getting on a weekly basis, though there's some stuff that I might get once every 1-2 months (a large container of chia/flax seeds will last me a good 1-2 months) or will throw in if it's on sale. This doesn't include stuff the rest of my family eats.
