add protein shake for more protein?

Hi all. I am 44 and trying to lose 15 more pounds of fat and add muscle and am finding that eating more protein and less carbs and specifically less gluten carbs, but not necessarily all, seems to be helping with some weight loss and added muscle as well as my Jillian Michaels videos and Zumba of course. Therefore, do any other middle-aged ladies find that adding a low-fat, high-protein shake help them to eat more like 75-90 gm. a day? If so, which ones do you like?

If you can't get your protein from food alone than go for a shake. Look for one that fits your budget and needs as there are tons on the market. I love Muscle Maxx in chocolate or vanilla... I buy it at walmart.
To add muscle, you need to be eating at a calorie surplus and lifting heavy weights while getting more than enough protein. Jilliam Michaels videos and Zumba will not help you build muscle. We tend to lose muscle while in a calorie deficit... you cannot gain it.0
