7lb gain after one bad day

Hi all, looking for some advice... I had been weighing in at about 153 for a week or so and then had one bad day of eating (about 2500 calories and a decent amount of sodium). That was 2 days ago and this morning I weighed in at 160! Do you think this is all water weight from the extra carbs and sodium or could I have actually gained that much from just one off day?

It's probably water retention. But even if it isn't, it really doesn't matter.
The past has gone, you can only control what you eat right now and in the future.0 -
A pound of fat is 3500 calories
So no you definitely didn't gain 7.
Depending what I eat it can take me 1 to 5 days to shred extra sodium/carb water weight0
