Happy scale

So I've been using this app since January to track my weight loss progress. Since then I've lost almost 6 lbs which is right on track with my .5 lbs a week goal. The only thing I'm wondering is do you guys log even when your on your TOM? I usually skip that week and I'm wondering if I should still log no matter what. It tends to go up by a few lbs most of the week

I log no matter what. On one app I track my weight every day, the other once a week. I have never even considered not logging during that time.0

I always log... I always go up by a few lbs, also, but at least I know the reason why. It's important to keep track, even if your scale says your off.0

Log it, then you just track the trend. No big deal.0

I always log, but I don't log my weight gain because I know it's just temporary. If I logged every gain I would probably cry because I'm up and down all the time. I'd rather just ride it out.0

Eh I don't!! I have that app too and I know if you're using the moving average it won't be accurate on the graph, it's personal preference! Also I chug 60-80oz a few days before mine is expected, and I only gain 1-2 pounds now!0

oh hi ! I just downloaded this app...still haven't use it. do you know if it sync with my fitness pal ?0

I log every day in Happy Scale. It's all good data. TOM is interesting, and good to know the patterns of what happens when.
I only log my weight in MFP when my weight goes down.
I don't have the two apps linked (if that's even possible).0 -
Sure, using an app like this is going to even out the ups and downs, that's the point of using it.
And I don't see any point in pretending that my monthly cycle doesn't impact my weight - that's something that's out of my control so I'm not going to beat myself up over it.0 -
The moving average will be affected for a few days but smoothed out and that is the point of a moving average! So yes, log away!0

I'm totally the same as this! Logging in Happy Scale every day but only here if there's a loss.0
