Would like to lose 25 lbs at least but can I?

Hey! So I am a 24 yr old female 5'9 and weigh 155-160 lbs (my weight fluctuates) and I eat 1200 calories per day on the days I don't go on the treadmill and 1600 calories on the days that I do. Will I lose close to 1.5 lbs per week? My maintenence is close to 1900 calories.

    I don't see why you wouldn't be able to lose 25 pounds, although you're probably at a health height/weight ratio right now. With so little to lose, I'd set a goal of no more than 1 pound per week if I were you.

    5'9 and 130? That's a bit light...I don't think you'll lose anything close to 1.5lb/week (in a healthy manner) seeing as how you're already at an appropriate weight for your height. I'd aim for .5lb/week.

    With that little weight to lose, 0.5 pounds per week is a more appropriate weight loss goal...if indeed you need to lose any weight. Perhaps what you really need to do strength train.
