How to be faster

I'm slow. Warming up for CT class, I struggle to keep the pace with others. Not that I'm drained of energy already, it's more like my body just can't move as fast as everyone else. During my Pump class, full range single squats are noticeably slower (I either do fewer than called for or don't go full range). I feel like a sloth compared to what is expected.

Plyo and box workouts. Dot drills. Ladder drills. Using bands while running or doing jumps. Using the parashoot to add resistance to short sprints. Mobility and dynamic stretching.
Those are the things I do with my basketball team to work on their speed and quickness.0 -
I'm always one of the slowest people in class. I just had to get used to it. Go at your own pace. You're not competing against the others. You are faster than everyone who isn't there.0
