How do YOU track your progress?

Of course you can weigh yourself. I've been measuring my body with a tape measure for years now. I know there have got to be other ways.
I want to be able to see myself in a more objective way. Of course that's impossible since everything we think or do comes from our own point of view anyway, but what do you guys do to see yourself (and your progress) objectively and logically? Before and after pics? If so, what exactly do you take pictures of? Please share!

For before and after pictures, I take front, side, and back view photos.
As for other ways to track, there's weight, tape measuring, how your clothes fit, and your strength/endurance change. Maybe you were able to only run a mile at the beginning of your journey, but currently can run 3 miles. That's a big way to show change, imo.0
