Options
Hey guys I'm 5'6 and 218lbs.
I've lost 28lbs in last 2 months and
I want to lose 20 lbs in the next 2 months.
Is it possible?
I heard weightloss slows down after a while.
How can I lose 20lbs in 2 months!
Any tips?
What excersize ?
Anything! Pls help!!

    Didnt you just accomplish that?
    So keep doing that?

If it slows- kick up the exercise- start a new routine -recalculate calorie goals.

Boom! :) Good luck and congrats on the loss!

Watch extreme weight loss, people lose 90lbs in 3 months ... don't see why you can't lose 20lbs in 2 months. I lost 30lbs in 1 month when I first started all of this a couple years back.

Honestly though, you might look like *kitten* if you kill yourself trying to lose weight super fast. Just end up skinny no muscle tone and hate it more then when you were bigger. Just some food for thought.

Hey thanks for the reply guys but I thought if I do the same thing it wouldn't work for the next 2 months. Becoz my body will get used to it.

This isn't accurate. You can use the same strategies for the next two months.

@FlabToFitty Just remember to update your goals with MFP... As you lose weight, your TDEE will change, and you will need to adjust how much you are eating in order to maintain your deficit. I update mine for every 5 lbs of loss.

I would keep up what you started. Don't get too caught up with must be 20 in 2 months, If you just keep losing on a consistent basis the rest will take care of itself.

    MFP uses NEAT Btw...

OP as you lose weight your weekly weight loss goal should change accordingly or else the deficit will get to the point where you really can't follow it...

If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal
If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal

Here is a good rule of thumb to follow

If you do in fact have 75+lbs to lose go for it...otherwise take heed and slow it down a bit.
