Calorie counting with mfp

I'm really enjoying the mfp app and am wanting to know if the calories mfp has setup for me is right? Im 5ft 9 and want to lose around 2lb so mfp says to eat 1200 calories a day. I worry that if I start on 1200 now I will end up plateauing after losing a few pounds? Im thinking of staring on 1350 then going down once I've lost a bit. Does this sound ok? Any help appreciated. Also any new friends wanting motivation feel free to add me :)

    Unless you have a very large amount to lose 2 lbs a week isn't a reasonable goal anyway. Also keep in mind it is 1200 PLUS exercise calories (but I'd still go with upping them a bit too).
