Hey everyone, My name is Sherryl. In Dec 2015 I had a triple bypass.
With my physician's guidance (GP, Cardio, Surgeon, and endocrinologist) I am determined to get off the insulin by losing 32 lbs and then get to my healthy weight after that. My A1c went from 11 (surgery day in December) to last apt with endocrinologist (last week) to 5.7
Right now I am taking 34 units (14 am and 20 pm) of Nov N and sliding scale of Nov R with a base of 11 units. 2000 cal with 35% carbs, 25% fa6t and 40 protein. I also have to walk 15 mins 3 times a week and building time and duration with a goal of 30 mins 5 times a week.
aspirin 81 mg tablets
biotin 15,000 units daily
furosemide 40 mg tablet
potassium chloride ER 20
omeprazole 20 mg
metroprolol er 25 mg
pravastatin 75 mg
warfarin 5 mg and 7.5 mg
With this grocery list of meds, I am working very hard to get my numbers inline so I can have a healthier second half of my life.
Anyway, that's my little story in a nutshell.

I am divorced and I do have 3 children and 1 grandson. I work as an office manager for Allstate in Nolensville.
