I am struggling so much right now. Ugh. Why can't I get it together?

    Pick goals you can achieve.Change it up! If you are hungry, then eat at maintenance for a day and return to your original goal tomorrow.

    Isn't nearly as useful a question as "how can I get it together?".

    So, what practical, positive steps do you think can help you achieve your goals going forwards?

    Your post caught my attention.

    The last few months have been a real struggle for me to maintain the earlier success I've had on MFP, and to complete my daily tracking, to eat properly and to exercise regularly. Easter weekend was a health and fitness disaster for me, and I ate and drank way too much.

    I took your post as a rhetorical question, and more of a statement than an actual question. I believe that the only real failure here (MFP, fitness, tracking) is to stop trying.

    With that in mind, I'm tracking again (I'm on day 2) and I'm making time tonight to get to the gym and do some weight lifting.
