Is it possible to gain almost 5 lbs in 1 day when I've ate MFP meal goal?

Depending on the cause, either drink more water (counter balance for sodium, but it is possible to drink too much water), or just wait it out (muscles retain water for repair, and not much you can do about TOM). It's one of the reasons why weight can jump around a lot from one day to the next.0 -

You don't necessarily want or need to. Your body holds onto a little extra water for a variety of reasons and some of them are necessary functions. You can cut back on sodium and drink plenty of fluids to help, but trying to force your body to get rid of it isn't always a good idea.0
