I'm 5'5 and I weigh 138 lbs. I want to be at least 130 lbs. or if I could get down to 126, that would be great. I'm exercising everyday. strength training 3x and intense cardio 3x with one day of lower impact exercises such as pilates or walking. My calories burned are usually from 300 - 500. I've been eating about 1500 - 1600 calories and sometimes my net calories are either below or above 1200. So if my net calories are under 1200 is that bad? Am I eating just the right amount of calories or should I be eating more? I've been losing weight but I weigh myself at random times so I don't have an accurate number that I'm losing per week. I'm a little confused because I read that I shouldn't be trying to lose more than 1/2 a pound a week or my metabolism get's messed up is that true?
