People who are obese are sometimes PRESCRIBED very low calorie diets by their doctors. Very low calorie diets are not do-it-yourself projects. Doctors will give obese patients injections to make sure they are getting enough nutrients.

Any doctor who prescribes the "Military Diet" (the VLCD being discussed) should have their license revoked.
Morbidly obese people may be prescribed a VLCD under their doctor's care. The discussion about the "Military Diet" didn't involve physician supervision.0 -
Just saying if you're obese you should be losing weight slowly like a pound a week otherwise you'll have leftover skin. Losing weight slowly gives your skin time to adjust accordingly.0
