"Cream" tomato pasta sauce made with fat free yoghurt - would this work?

I fancy some comforting pasta with tomato sauce tonight. I have half a pot of fat free yoghurt leftover from some FroYo I made at the weekend - do you think I could use this in place of crème fraiche to make a lower fat "creamy" tomato sauce - or would the yoghurt split?

I don't know, but I never use dairy in my tomato sauce/soup.0

it very well may curdle. just use the tomato sauce if you need to make it tastier grade up carrot and onion and garlic and simmer it with the veggies. Have the yogurt on the side0
