No advice on the college eating - I gained weight steadily through my college career!
Breakfast for me daily is a tub of Greek yogurt. Lunches vary but are usually leftovers.0 -
if you know you will be up late studying, save calories for the late night snacking. work in your bulk of calories in that time. it can be done, you just have to be committed0

When I want to snack at night I eat frozen dark sweet cherries. They're sweet so it satisfies my sweet tooth and they're really cold so you can't eat them all that quickly. 1 cup ( the grams are listed on the bag) = 90 calories:)0

Depends on where you're at and what you can eat at that location. Try drinking water every time you think "I'm hungry", it's a game I play at work when I deal with boredom eating habits. Otherwise, try and bring low-cal snacks with fiber and/or fat to fill (celery with lowfat cream cheese, apples with a little peanut butter).
Check in the Recipes forum, there are several posts in there from students and nurses (also long shifts) with ideas and suggestions for the meals to eat.0 -

I never stayed up late to study or pulled "all-nighters" like my friends did, and I still got better grades and was less stressed. I took a full-time course load and worked 20-35 hours a week on top of that. Pay attention in class, use the time between classes to study and review the material you just went over, and don't wait until the last minute to get your work done. This are skills that will help you throughout your life.
Another vote for time management.
I used to be an emotional eating but now I manage stress via regular exercise.0 -

I found myself far more stressed spreading the stress over a huge amount of time - whenever I wasn't working on something, I found myself stressed that I SHOULD be working on something. Work is a much better fit for me, where I work until work is over and then have all my time to myself. For every person that does well doing things bit by bit there's another that gets great grades and thrives under the stress!
I used gum to keep myself from eating. Or I went to the student center where they had a refillable soda fountain and just drank diet soda to keep my mouth busy. My issues were always with the dining hall buffet style...0
