Hi guys and gals just a quick question seeing if anyone has a decent recipe regarding whey protein? I like drinking it, but fancy adding it to things. Can you add it to yoghurt and ice cream etc? Thank you for your suggestions and comments l.

I occasionally mix it in with my oatmeal. I also made these earlier today and they're really tasty!

All of the recipes that I have found...have been dreadful, unfortunately.
A simple thing that I like to do is to blend 1/2 cup of frozen fruit (strawberries, blueberries, cherries) with a scoop of powder and the recommended amount of water. It is easy and really tasty.0 -
Have mixed mine with my coffee before. I have to mix it with room temp water first than add to the coffee otherwise it clumps up in the coffee (certain powders don't mix well in heated liquid, you could also make iced coffee to mix).
I tried oatmeal and didn't like it, but I think the flavor of the protein powder was just too strong.0 -
Cheers for the suggestions much appreciated0

Gosh - I add it all the time to my food. My hubby adds a mix of vanilla whey protein, hemp hearts (high protein), and chia seeds (good n-3:n-6 ratio) to his fruit and Greek yogurt every day for his breakfast. I add it to pancakes (I usually make them will a couple of ripe bananas, mashed sweet potato or canned pumpkin added to the batter, too), muffins, cookies, oatmeal....etc. I like to have a little extra protein in the snacks for my active, fit and health-conscious family. Good luck!0

Ya, I add it to coffee as well. I make the coffee, then toss in an ice cube or two to cool it down slightly as my PP will clump in hot liquid as well.
It's not great in oatmeal, but edible if I only use a half scoop and add fruit.0 -
I've made the first recipe. It wasn't bad. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/20-best-healthy-protein-pancake-recipes.html0

I've been making really excellent overnight oats with it.
2 cups oatmeal
3 scoops chocolate flavored whey protein (~28 grams per scoop)
3/4 cup almond milk
1/2 tbsp cinnamon (to taste)
8-10oz vanilla (or plain, or chocolate) Greek yogurt
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup brown sugar (to taste)
Mix it all up together and split it into 5 equal tupperwares/mugs and let it sit in the fridge overnight. It's a delicious breakfast!!! It's like brownie batter with oatmeal! SO GOOD. I've had it every morning for the past two weeks0
