Not counting exercise calories

I'm new to this app...I do a combination of powerlifting/oly lifting, crossfit and Orange theory...I'm also trying to follow "Eat to perform". Do people eat there exercise calories? I'm not going to do it and see how I feel.

If you use mfp as it was intended (not using tdee) then you should eat back exercise cals

I'm not exercising the same as you, but 'traditionally' MFP over calculates exercise calories. I've seen people eat back usually 50% or less for their cardio burn.

My tdee -10% is around 3k. I'm burning close to 1k calories on certain days...I'm trying to lean out a bit; eating 4K calories seems a bit much for me!

No need to eat them back if you are doing TDEE.

TDEE includes exercise, so don't eat exercise calories back

MFP doesn't include exercise, so eat 50-75% of your exercise calories back (a portion because calorie burn estimates are generous).

I don't eat back any of my excersize calories. I also don't follow the mfp guidlines, I follow my fitness coaches approach to nutrition and it has worked for me thus far helping me lose almost 70lbs.

Your TDEE should already include your exercise calories. You wouldn't add exercise calories on top of that number.

I do - they taste delicious!
And they fuel my exercise and keep me on target.
