Greyout after exercise...

So slight worries after doing strenuous cardio exercises. Yesterday I turned pale instead of red after a very long exercise and today I was flushed but when I went to use the bathroom after my exercise (I stay well hydrated lol) I experienced a slight grey out. I started talking to myself and trying to evaluate what exactly was happening. It went away fairly quickly.

Am I pushing myself too hard? Should I eat more? Maybe my blood sugars are off? Low blood pressure maybe?

I'm about 500/250 calorie deficit to lose a little more body fat. I do cardio because I like it. I don't eat all my exercise calories back and I own a Fitbit and try to stay "under" all the time to *kitten* if it's over or under estimating. I don't follow a particular diet I just eat what I like usually and I take a multivitamin.

Exactly how long was this exercise and what were you doing? What's your total caloric intake?

Well when I turned pale yesterday it was just a 2.5 hour power walk I decided to go on through the city. Not a jog, but just probably averaged 3.5MPH brisk pace. I was probably a bit dehydrated and at that point I hadn't eaten much besides a protein bar 200cals along the way. I made sure to eat when I got home and my skin color returned.

Today I was cycling in the city and it leaned on the more vigerious side where i was really gasping for air... but it is hard to say my total since I stopped at places a long the way. The last stretch was 20mins, and total was about again 2.5 hours on the road. at that point I had totaled maybe 1.2k~ calories with my lunch I had outside today. Total at the end of the day changes from day to day since I am using fitbit. Usually I am 1300-1650 range

If you're biking for 2.5 hours and only eating 13-1650 you're not eating your exercise calories back. You need to eat more, IMO.

Sounds like you're not eating enough. Maybe have a meal before you hit the road. Also hydrate more.

I have chronic low blood pressure and suffer from occasional episodes of vasal vagal syncope. Your symptoms sound similar. Basically, in my case, sometimes when my bp drops my heart rate drops too (normally the hr increases to compensate) which causes Grey outs, shakes, cold sweats and rarely I pass out. Because of this, my sodium intake is a bit higher than recommended normally by Dr's. Two things that help when it happens is lying in a prone position until it passes or salt (handful of chips or glass of salt water).

Thanks everyone. I'm going to start eating back all of my exercise calories and bump up my calorie goal on high activity days
