Doing this right.

Hi i'm new to the forums but using MFP for 2 weeks now.

I was 69kg last year down to 61kg last June before enrolling to the gym to start exercise. I'm 5'0" so i am still overweight. :(

I've been trying to consume 1200cal per day but I always end up below it with exercise. I got my eating habits from downsizing last year so I am not really hungry. I think I am doing this wrong. :( Should I eat more or just keep doing what I do? I'm afraid that if I eat more, I would gain a lot again.
