Just curious how your body weight fluctuates throughout the night. I usually weigh myself before I go to bed to get an average of how much weight my body loses throughout the night. Typically when I weigh myself in the morning, I'm 3-4 pounds down from the previous night!
Just curious how your bodies are since everyone is different.

I do HIIT sessions whilst sleepwalking so I'm usually down a few lbs by the time I wake up.0

For most people, you're only going to burn 400-600(1200-1800 BMR x 8hrs / 24hrs) actual calories while sleeping so 0.11-0.17 lbs the rest is just going to be water weight either by using the bathroom in between weighing, or simply by exhaling water vapor in your breath throughout the night.0

The average for many is about 2-4lbs. Most of it water weight. However when you are at rest, FAT is the primary fuel source. You burn more fat calories by percentage resting and sleeping 8 hours, than you would doing an hour to hour and a half of cardio.

Most people lose weight overnight. That's why the lowest weight is first thing in morn & why it's recommended to weigh then.0

It's not fat that your body tends to "lose" overnight.
A glass of water can weigh about a half a pound. So if you peed a few times overnight, but didn't drink a lot of water...
Also, you probably ate dinner and the weight of the food in your stomach will be something. A lot of people can instantly "lose" a couple pounds with that first morning trip to the bathroom. If you went on a 24 hour fast, you would weigh less purely from the lack of food in your stomach, not so much because you lost several pounds of fat in a single day.
I generally weigh about 2 lbs less in the morning then from the night before, I attribute this largely to dehydration and a small effect of food digestion. It's good to be aware of how your weight will change over the day, so you don't get caught up thinking you "gained" weight in a single day by comparing your morning dehydrated weight to your post-dinner and including the weight of food in your stomach weight.0 -
People are not all that different when it comes to how a body functions. As already stated 2-4 pounds loss over night is quite normal. Mainly water weight.0
