Does celexa change your appetite

I am starting celexa and I am curious about weight gain? More in particular does it increase your appetite?

    I haven't had any problems losing. I can't remember if I had an increase in weight or appetite at first, its been a few years.

    I took it a few years ago. I felt very nauseous for the first week or so. Once that side effect went away I didn't notice any appetite increase.

    I've been taking it for about 6 months now and I've had no change in appetite. I'm still losing at a good pace and it definitely helps with my mood. Of course everyone is different but that's my experience.

    Like kgirl said, after the initial side effects subsided, I've noticed no change in my appetite either way. There is another side effect that's bothering me enough that I'll be talking to the doc about trying something else, but that's TMI for this board, I think.

    @singingflutelady Other that the nauseous no side effects seem to impact weight per the link below.
