This is my 1st post but I just bought some steak from Kroger. It's Private Selection Angus. It says USDA Choice Angus Top Sirloin Steak and is from Kroger's meat section, I have found widely varying nutrition info. Anyone know where I can find a reliable answer?
I Appreciate any help for a newbie looking to keep losing those pounds. 7 down about 10-15 more to go!

3 years in and I still have no idea how to log steak. The best is to use USDA values but even then, it depends on how much fat you trim... and it never adds up with calorie info from restaurants, for example.0

I'm in the same boat! For example, I used to work at Texas Roadhouse and noticed their website says a 6 oz Dallas Filet (filet mignon) has only 230 calories, yet online it appears to be closer to 450 calories for a 6 oz filet mignon...0 -
