Log when you make everything from scratch? I often make my own bread, pasta sauces, soups etc, and don't normally weigh out as just put 'a handful' of this and 'a pinch' of that....

Also I buy the majority of my fruit, veg and meat from the butcher and market etc, how can I log this? Just stick to say logging it as Asdas?

Use the recipe builder and your food scale. If you're throwing a "pinch" in a bowl or whatever - have your container on the scale. Tare the scale. Throw in the pinch, put the weight in the recipe builder. Easy peasy. In the alternative if you're throwing it in a boiling hot pot or something that you don't want to place on the scale then place the spice container (or whatever on the scale) - weigh it. Add your pinch. Put the container back on the scale. The difference in the weights is how much you added.

Suppose it's all in the "changing habits" process!
