EA Sports Active

Just picked this up today because I saw a local store had it on special for £19.99 ('Game' in the UK). Was looking for something to do after my 30 minutes of 30 Day Shred cause walking on the treadmill for 3 miles after was killing me.
Well I started out with a 35 minute preformatted routine and it kicked my butt! Wow! I am also shocked because my HRM said I burned 165 calories in that 35 minutes and the counter on the program said something like 140.
I would suggest this for anybody with a Wii. Much more intense than Wii Fit. I still will do Wii Fit after harder workout days cause I still think the games are fun and even with that my HRM said I burned 143 Calories in 41 minutes but it is a 'fun' less intense workout.
Haven't had a routine yet on the EA Sports Active that has used the resistance band but it seems a little 'light'. I have some other bands I can use if I find this to be the case.
I also picked up a copy of My Fitness Coach-Cardo Workout for only £6! It was a pre-owned copy but there are no scratches on the disc so all is good. Figured I couldn't pass it up for that price.

You can buy different bands in the sports section of any store that sells workout stuff. I got a pack of 3 yoga bands in Target for $9.99. They had a light, medium, and hard ones. I just tied the light one onto the same handles that have the one that the game came with and I switch between the two. The one I bought is shorter, so I can't use it for over-the-head moves. It's great for bicep curls and anything lower. It's a reasonable investment for the added resistance.0

I am doing my EA Active 30 day challenge right now - I did the shred last month - while I didn't feel it gave the same intensity as the shred its still a really great workout and fun. I agree about the resistance bands though - I tied mine a lot tighter than they recommended, but still don't feel like much resistance - I think I will be doing what others suggested and purchase some different bands, I'm almost done witht the medium challenge - I think I have 4 work outs left, but after that I'm going to do the 30 day challenge on High intensity. I don't have the balance board, but even without it the workouts are still very productive - I get a pretty good sweat going!!
I definitely agree - if you have a wii and are looking for a great workout game EA Active is pretty good!0
