Mfp says I burn 500 calories for my run. Can I really eat all these back ? Seems to good to be true. Obviously I'm eating healthy whole foods mainly.

Assuming you have your activity level set to sedentary yes, eat back your exercise calories as MFP has already calculated the deficit for whatever your weight loss goal is.
You may want to be a little cautious, however, with MFP's calorie estimates for exercise. If you're running a HRM is a great investment (even some of those over-estimate calories expended) and/or you can sanity check the numbers. Runner's World suggests multiplying your body weight in lbs x .72 x distance in miles as a ball park (http://www.runnersworld.com/weight-loss/running-v-walking-how-many-calories-will-you-burn)0
