low glycemic index eating plan??

Hi. I was wondering what to eat if I am trying to stick with a low glycemic index eating plan. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you!

Have a look at using glycemic load versus glycemic index. Glycemic load factors in the portion size.

I lost 15 pounds on the low glycemic index. This was before I started tracking my weight loss on MFP. I'm not following it now as it's too hot to turn the stove on.
It helps to know what foods rank low or high on the index as you want to minimize eating foods that are high on the glycemic index. I found this glycemic index really helpful:

As for recipes I have made a few from the Natural Health Doc site. Two favorites in my household are the Beef Barley Stew and the Chicken with Balsemic vinegar:

Trying to follow a low glyecmic plan is a moot point unless you just eat carbs for your meals. Adding protein and or fats to your carbs lowers the glycemic index of the meal.0
