Going on a cruise

I'm looking for info from vegetarians on Carnival's vegetarian options. We are going on a cruise in the next month and the only info I can find is "Yes, they will cater to special diets". Well what I want to know is if I'm going to be eating the same food every single night or if they actually have a good variety of decent food for non-meat eaters.

Carnival has plenty of options and you can ask for things that are not specifically listed on the menu. For example when my 11year old doesn't want the dinner meals, she just asks for spaghetti and meatballs. never on the menu but they make it without a problem. But the ship carries a variety from night to night and day to day, it does depend on what ship you are on too. We are sailing on Sunday. Can't wait!!

    Maybe this might help:

I haven't been on Carnival and I'm not a vegetarian but cruises are usually very good about feeding you. On my last cruise a gal at my dinner table had so many food issues and they would work with her every night about the next nights dinner/dessert. She could look at the menu in advance and then request any alterations for her meal. Vegetarian should be no issue as it is very common.

Haven't been on Carnival, but I assume it's like any other on this front... They typically have a vegetarian option for each cours that rotates each night, plus there are "always available" things that are available all nights. If you need, you can work with your assistant maitre d' and craft your menu for the following night after dinner.
