Hoping to learn from others

I am a 67 year old woman who is trying to get in shape. I started walking and using a Gazelle glider last fall. At first all I could do was 4 minutes at a time, but have worked it up to 1/2 hour at a time. 2 weeks ago I got an elliptical machine and could only do 2 minutes at a time before I could hardly breathe and my legs were burning so bad I couldn't do more, but was doing it 4-5 times a day. This morning I did 5 minutes. I have a vivofit band and am doing over 15,000 steps a day. 3 weeks ago I started logging my food intake and have been reading everything I can on how to improve the quality of what I am eating
I would love to have some friends that I can talk to whom I can talk to and exchange things that have worked for you
