Hi, I made the commitment to do a MURPH challenge by Memorial Day 2016. A MURPH is an exercise event named after Medal of Honor recipient (posthumously) Michael Murphy who would complete this within 75 minutes while wearing 25 pound body armor vest, he would run a mile then do 100 pullups 200 pushups 300 air squats and run another mile, he did these daily.

My plan is to do this event without the added weight, maybe next year.

Right now running a mile or two and squats no problem, pushups will be a struggle, but the pullups are a major hurdle to get over I can’t do a single one. I have never been able to do a pullup.

I look forward to maintaining my progress as I work to achieve this goal and I encourage all to join me in the quest.
