Ingridients raw or cooked

Hi,
I was wondering, if I manually add a recipe should I put the ingridients raw or cooked. For example, I wanted to add a lentil recipe, but if I add the lentils as raw vs. adding them as cooked, the calories turn out to be way less. (I always have into account the amounts 'cause I know 1/2 a lb of raw lentils could be about 7 cups of cooked lentils). Can somebody please tell me what to do?

It depends on how you weigh them. When you weigh them to add them to the recipe, are they cooked or raw? As long as the entry you choose matches your method, you're good to go.

Just realized that might not be clear.

Example 1: I make my salad chicken by throwing a few breasts in a roasting pan. I then add 100g of cooked chicken to each salad. When I log it, I use the entry for cooked chicken breast.

Example 2: I'm making a chicken bake and using a bunch of recipes. I put a 200g raw chicken breast in the dish along with my other ingredients. When I build the recipe, I use the entry for raw chicken breast.

    Make sense?
