Weird question for the women (please read)

Ok so I've been on birth control (depo shot) for quite a few months now. So I don't get a period anymore. But since yesterday I've had really back stomach pains. I'm super bloated, gained 2 pounds and I'm spotting. I've been spotting off and on for 3 days but the pain and bloating just started yesterday. Does anyone else take depo and have this issue? Or just have this issue without depo?? Any input would help. Thanks!

    Gaining 2 lbs is likely nothing but water retention. These symptoms are common in the beginning, but since you've been on it for awhile and these symptoms are new, you should see a doctor.

    Quite common especially if you are due a shot....if you are worried though speak to your gp for advice

    I have the implant and got those symptoms about 2 months after having it put in. After 4 months it disappeared.. Although I also got my period, as well as the spotting. In the 2nd and 3rd month my period lasted 2 weeks with a week break then came back for another 2 weeks... Really not fun.

    It just concerns me since I was on the shot before a few years ago and never had these issues. I'm going to give it a day or two and see how it goes.
