I know on Low Carb, the first 5 pounds or so is a good amount of water.
Is it the same with CICO that has 150+ carbs per day?
Or is the pounds that come off mostly fat because youre not depleting your glycogen stores?

Calorie restriction usually depletes glycogen to some extent. Weight loss is typically approx 70% fat.0

At the beginning for any weight loss method you're going to drop water weight at first. Generally you will see a quick loss followed by what looks like a stall or stop in loss, then as it resumes again you can start saying its likely fat loss along with continuing water fluctuations.0
