Strength training doesn't burn nearly as many calories as cardio. However, "Weight training, general" is an option under the cardio category.
MFP tends to overestimate the calorie burn. Eat/log only half of that number (or a lower percentage, at least) or invest in a HRM. :flowerforyou:0 -
I was wondering the same thing! You can actually burn a lot of calories from weight training, depending on how hard you are training! I don't even really log my workouts on here, I just sometimes make notes of them.0
